Biography

I am interested in how fundamental notions of quantum information theory, such as entanglement, coherence and non-classicality, when applied to gravity, can illuminate our understanding of how gravity and quantum theory are combined. In particular, I am interested in how these fundamental features can be used to establish laboratory tests of quantum gravity in the near future, which would tell us whether the conventional application of quantum theory to gravity, quantum gravity, is correct. I am also investigating how quantum coherence when applied to causality can help uncover fundamental properties of quantum gravity and establish new ways of approaching this challenging subject. Furthermore, I am considering how quantum information behaves when changing classical and quantum reference frames, which could help unlock a new notion of a quantum version of the equivalence principle and point to a better understanding of quantum gravity.
